Abba Kyari Speaks. Full Text of His Press Statement. I am writing to let you know that on medical advice, I will transfer to Lagos later today for additional tests and observation. This is a precautionary measure: I feel well, but last week, I tested positive for coronavirus, the pandemic that is sweeping the world. I have followed all the protocols government has announced to self-isolate and quarantine. I have made my own care arrangements to avoid further burdening the public health system, which faces so many pressures. Like many others that will test also positive, I have not experienced high fever or other symptoms associated with this new virus and have been working from home. I hope to be back at my desk very soon. I have a team of young, professional, knowledgeable and patriotic colleagues, whose dedication has been beyond the call of duty, who continue to work seven days a week, with no time of the day spared. We will continue to serve the President and people of Niger

ADDRESS BY H.E. MUHAMMADU BUHARI, PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA  ON THE COVID- 19 PANDEMIC SUNDAY 29TH MARCH, 2020 1.   Fellow Nigerians, 2.   From the first signs that Coronavirus, or COVID-19 was turning into an epidemic and was officially declared a world-wide emergency, the Federal Government started planning preventive, containment and curative measures in the event the disease hits Nigeria. 3.   The whole instruments of government are now mobilized to confront what has now become both a health emergency and an economic crisis. 4.   Nigeria, unfortunately, confirmed its first case on 27th February 2020. Since then, we have seen the number of confirmed cases rise slowly. 5.    By the morning of March 29th, 2020, the total confirmed cases within Nigeria had risen to ninety-seven. 6.   Regrettably, we also had our first fatality, a former employee of PPMC, who died on 23rd March 2020. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family in this very difficult time

CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (CAN), NOT IN TALKING TERMS WITH GOD!

Image
This piece has nothing to do with the millions of Christians in Nigeria who Love the Lord with their whole hearts and their neighbours as themselves, as commanded by our Lord, Jesus Christ. On June 16, 2018, lost in the euphoria of Nigeria versus Croatia match at the on-going FIFA World cup tournament in far away Russia,  was the cheering news that the Nigeria Police had nabbed the five suspected killers of two Rev Fathers in Benue. Their names were given as follows: Manga Husseini, David Akenawe, Agada Tsesaa, Tarza Orvanya & Ngyohov Shin. The mostly sleeping Nigerian media, for reason explained to the nation by one of our veteran journalists, did not consider it "Breaking News". They did not even do their usual "Cut and paste". This is a bid to demarket President Muhammadu Buhari, a man elected to salvage a nation that it's ruination was backed by unrighteous men parading themselves as Christians. The CAN of worms that reap from the bloody

#BUDGET2018 - MATTERS ARISING  BETRAYAL (1.)

🔥 MASSIVE 75% REDUCTION BY NATIONAL ASSEMBLY IN BUDGETARY ALLOCATION FOR THE  CONSTRUCTION OF ENUGU AIRPORT. 🔥 Among other things, the budget for the construction of Enugu Airport which President Buhari had proposed for *₦2 billion* has been drastically reduced to a mere *₦500m* without any explanation or reason. 🔥 The Deputy Senate President, Sen. Ike Ekweremadu who is a son of the soil of Enugu State and other representatives from Enugu State, are also part of the group that made this irrational cut. Many Igbos will rightly see this as antagonistic, betrayal and a huge sabotage. 🔥 If this sum of money had been approved by the Senate, it would have gone towards transforming the Airport from its current Primary School Assembly hall status to a modern state-of-the-art terminal building befitting the people of Enugu State and other Nigerians. 🔥 To put this in perspective, Heathrow Terminal 5 cost £4.2 billion to construct (not that we are expecting anything on that
