#BUDGET2018 - MATTERS ARISING  BETRAYAL (1.)

🔥 MASSIVE 75% REDUCTION BY NATIONAL ASSEMBLY IN BUDGETARY ALLOCATION FOR THE  CONSTRUCTION OF ENUGU AIRPORT.

🔥 Among other things, the budget for the construction of Enugu Airport which President Buhari had proposed for *₦2 billion* has been drastically reduced to a mere *₦500m* without any explanation or reason.

🔥 The Deputy Senate President, Sen. Ike Ekweremadu who is a son of the soil of Enugu State and other representatives from Enugu State, are also part of the group that made this irrational cut. Many Igbos will rightly see this as antagonistic, betrayal and a huge sabotage.

🔥 If this sum of money had been approved by the Senate, it would have gone towards transforming the Airport from its current Primary School Assembly hall status to a modern state-of-the-art terminal building befitting the people of Enugu State and other Nigerians.


🔥 To put this in perspective, Heathrow Terminal 5 cost £4.2 billion to construct (not that we are expecting anything on that scale) but Senator Ekweremadu and his colleagues expect just £1m or  less to be sufficient to build an International airport in Enugu - an airport that will serve no less than 7 States.

🔥 How can Sen. Ekweremadu, his Enugu brothers/sister in the National Assembly and the NASS, mitigate this decision that sets the South East back, yet again?
 

🔥 I guess Senator Ekweremadu will have some explaining to do to his people on why he would rather 'cut off his nose to spite his face' by frustrating the laudable efforts of the Buhari Administration to address the restructuring of our nation and the marginalisation of Ndigbo.

🔥 It seems Ekweremadu's hatred for Buhari must be so deep-rooted as to deny himself and his people a good international airport that would not only generate huge employment for young Nigerians particularly of Enugu State Origin, but also attract international investments as well as ease of travel to and from the whole of South East zone and the rest of the world.


🔥 Let's see how far 25% of this cost will go in building this airport.

🔥 Ndigbo definitely should have a question or two for these self serving-Senators and other representatives from Enugu State. They know the Hon Ministers of Transport and Aviation would put the money into the Airport, but they would rather support the diversion of the funds to areas where it would end up in their pockets.

    South east marginalisation means hatred for PMB, they don't want the Region develope that is so the only way to sustain the marginalisation story a.k.a hatred for PMB.
