DEAR OSINACHI,

💜I know you are fine. I also know that you are laughing: Laughing at all those people; men and women, who abuse their spouses and pass their children through a living hell.

💙Just as Christians mark the resurrection of Jesus today, I remember how you rose from the dead, a day after you died. A lot has happened since your resurrection, Osinachi. 

💜There's now more awareness and exposure, regarding spousal abuse in our nation. Suddenly, the stigma of separation, divorce and being single, is now on the front burner and being bravely discussed and tackled.

💙Some Men are stepping up and refusing to be labelled irresponsible for saying "Enough". Some women too, are refusing to stand by and watch their lives fritter away. They all know that there's no shame in being happy. 

EVERYONE DESERVES TO BE HAPPY. 

💜Some people have actually left their abusive relationships and wondering what took them this long, while thanking you for opening their eyes of understanding. 

💙Some abusers have gone on their knees, begging for forgiveness from the spouses they turned into punching bags for years and pledging to put an end to their animalistic behaviour. Thank you Osinachi.

💜Some brave young people, have cancelled their upcoming weddings to people who had started abusing them, even before they said, ''I do". You did it, Osinachi.

💙Other's, whose self confidence had been bashed by years of verbal abuse and emotional torture, are having their self-esteem and courage, reset. 

💜Osinachi, what you couldn't do for yourself, you are doing for Nigerians in bad relationships. Relationships will never be the same again in our nation. They can only get better because of you, Osinachi.

💙Don't rest yet, you have become the Matron Saint of everyone in our nation, who suffers abuse, men, women and children. 

💜My prayers and thoughts are for your family, especially you mother, siblings, children, etc. They must be proud and be comforted by the wonderful work you are doing from the great beyond.

💙God bless your soul, Osinachi.

  They have been leaving before I was born. By the time my grand children become grand parents, MIGRATION will continue to happen. Yes, it's called "Migration". Background On March 20, 1984, the then Chief of Staff, Supreme Headquarters, Major-General Babatunde Idiagbon launched a campaign on ‘National Consciousness and Enlightenment’  at the National Theatre, Igamu, Lagos which lifted the nation into a sphere of national awareness and prepared ground for the then Head of State, Commander-in-Chief, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari’s clarion call that we are all Nigerians and we must fight indiscipline. Welcome to my blog. OMG! I can't believe I'm blogging!! Its true, I am blogging. When my children bullied me into acquiring a blackberry phone a year ago, I had no idea that I would ever come to blogging.
